CERTIFICATION COMMITTEE

The Certification Committee (CC) comprises engineers with expertise in European professional and education systems, in accordance with the Constitution and Terms of Reference. The CC receives EUR ING and European Engineering Education Database (EEED) applications from the National Monitoring Committees (NMCs) and verifies their compliance with the EUR ING Tutorial and EUR ING SPEC.

At the European level, the CC is responsible for the content of the EEED, the list of institutions of engineering higher education of the 32 National Members and their engineering programmes recognised by ENGINEERS EUROPE, and for awarding the EUR ING certificate. It reviews applications submitted via the NMCs to ensure conformity with the EUR ING Tutorial and EUR ING SPEC. The CC’s members are specialists in the diverse engineering education systems across Europe.
